Education – in its broadest sense – is where it all begins. At Wellness For Life, we believe that creating a global culture of sustainable well-being starts with the next generation. That’s why we are so passionate about preparing this cohort for life within and beyond academia. Our well recognised work with schools and educational establishments has proven to be transformational for teachers, students and parents alike.
We share foundational tools, techniques and life skills that support students’ overall well-being, academic learning and help them to navigate turbulent and stressful times. In tandem, we arm teachers with the skills to sustain this support while enhancing their own personal personal growth and development. This multi-layered approach disseminates our coaching to all touchpoints in the education system creating a comprehensive maintenance system.
Our integrated approach to wellness is shared in a fun, interactive and dynamic way. We engage students of all ages, cultures and backgrounds and cultivate an awareness of mental, emotional, physical and social health. Being mindful of the relationship between four these aspects of oneself, enables both students and teachers to:
- Develop resiliency and the willingness and readiness to adapt to evolving situations
- Cultivate a growth mindset, seeing limitations as an opportunity for growth and learning
- Boost mental health, emotional intelligence and social connection
- Build self confidence, self-awareness and a strong sense of identity
- Prepare students entering the workforce to adapt to work cultures and behaviours
Research proves that by building a solid foundation and creating a strong sense of identity in the formative years, we are better equipped to face obstacles, times of change and challenging situations throughout life.
